  • Businesses with a reliable supply chain for consistent batches of waste plastics, such as soft-drink bottle caps.
  • Applicants with relevant market information and commercialisation strategies.
  • Applicants able to invest or secure funding from public or private sources.

What to submit

  • A brief description of the company’s core business.
  • A response explaining how the company meets each eligibility requirement.

Required supporting documents

  • Company registration documents.
  • Audited or independently reviewed financial statements.
  • A valid tax-clearance certificate for South African companies.
  • A valid Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment certificate.
  • An overview of the key team members who will drive commercialisation.
